Manohar Joshi :- Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra dies at 86.

Mumbai :- Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Manohar Joshi passes away today 23rd February 2024. After suffering from Cardiac arrest on February 21, Former Lok Sabha Speaker was admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital‘s intensive care unit.

Former Chief Minister Manohar Joshi Dies at 86.

He took his last breath today at PD Hinduja Hospital.

According to his son Umesh, ” He had been admitted to ICU and was under observation. He has cardiac trouble on Wednesday (21st February). He had prolonged age related health issues. We will be performing his last rites at Shivaji Park Crematorium,and before this the mortal will be brought first to our house in Matunga.”

Political Career of Manohar Joshi:-

Manohar Gajanan Joshi , was an Indian Politician from the state of Maharashtra, who served as 12th Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 1995 to 1999. He was one of the prominent leader of Shiv Sena and one of the Indians to be elected to all of the 4 legislature.

He served as 13th Speaker of Lok Sabha from 2002-2004. He was Minister of Heavy industries and Public Enterprises from 1999 to 2002.
