Harda/Bhopal :- The explosion was so violent that even the pillars of the building were uprooted, while the fire caused crackling sounds for an hour. An explosion took place around 11 am in a firecracker factory on Magardha Marg of Harda town, 150 km from Bhopal. The fire brigade rushed to the spot after getting information about the incident. However, this fire was so fierce that fire brigade teams were called from 7 districts in the area. The administration immediately took up rescue operations and evacuated more than 100 houses in the area. The severity of the incident is greater Collector Rishi Garg expressed the possibility that the number of dead and injured will increase. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also sought the help of the Army for rescue operations. To expedite rescue operations NDRF team also reached the spot. They started searching and pulling out people trapped under the debris. 50 ambulances were deployed at the spot to take the injured to the hospital immediately. Many bodies were literally scattered. Some had broken limbs, some were unrecognizable. As the body was not identified, the cries of the relatives were heartbreaking. Taking note of the incident of fire President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled. The Prime Minister announced an aid of Rs 2 lakh each to the heirs of the deceased while Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced an aid of Rs 4 lakh each. He also said that the cost of treatment of the injured will be borne by the state government.
